Welcome Jarrod Taylor and the team from Precision Combat Training!

Des Moines Jiu-Jitsu Academy would like to formally welcome Jarrod Taylor as the newest instructor in our schools already great lineup of highly skilled instructors. He is formally the owner and head grappling instructor at Precision Combat Training. Jarrod brings over a decade of mixed martial arts training into class, with a focus on helping others reach their full potential on and off the mat. He began training in mixed martial arts in 2001, and has studied Muay Thai kick boxing, traditional boxing, and specializes in no-gi submission wrestling. Jarrod has found victory in professional MMA and no-gi grappling, and now strives to prove himself to be an accomplished teacher through the continued development of his students. We hope that his students will enjoy their new atmosphere and we welcome all of them to come train with us.

What this means to you is that he will be teaching No-Gi classes on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6pm-8pm. You will probably also see some new faces around the school so feel free to introduce yourself to Jarred and the other new students coming from Precision.
